So...I'm not the only one enamored with Erin Burnett?

Erin Burnett was voted the hottest financial news anchors on Wall Street gossip blog Dealbreaker.com, beating out colleagues Becky Quick and the original Money Honey, Maria Bartiromo. Now the NY Post is writing about her too... Anyway, she's definitely one I enjoy to watch on CNBC

The Trading Almanac will be back June 5th

I need a little more time off to wrap up some personal issues. I'll be back up and running next week. Meanwhile, hold on, looks like the market has some more downside. I'm looking for stocks that are holding up well. My favorite so far is Hershey (HSY).

Here is an inspirational link to a commencement speech made by Steve Jobs of Apple (AAPL). (I own Apple in my IRA...) He talks of loss, death, and more. His message: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.

This post's link lyrics (I've got two for you today!): I Will Be Free by Nil Lara and Free Fallin' by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers

Thanks Maria Monday -- Hindsight Report for May 1, 2005

Thank you very little Maria Bartiromo. Today, CNBC's Money Honey threw an otherwise mild Monday into a tizzy when she quoted from an off the record conversation she had with FED chairman Bernanke this weekend at the White House Correspondents dinner in which she said that Bernanke "had not intended the markets to infer that the Fed was nearly done raising interest rates." The market was stunned and stocks fell rapidly while interest rates jumped on the bond yield. All in all, an exciting day.

Wednesday-Friday: Hindsight Report

I didn't get these posted during the week so here they are. Some stocks that really are getting my attention are Jones Soda, UnitedHealth, and Chicos. Jones Soda broke out to an all time high and is a maturing stock often overlooked by people investing in Hansens. UnitedHealth and Chicos are both making bounces off of moving averages and long-term trends. I'll be keeping an eye on them this week. Also, many VOIP stocks were strong after Vonage doubled its potential IPO offering to around $500 million this week. Some VOIP stocks I'm watching are: EGHT, PRTL, IBAS, and DDDC.
